I'm mostly posting this to have a relevant posting. I don't get onto deviantART very often, but stopped in today and someone had posted me some advice. Said poster was very nice about it and I do know I have a lot of work to do, but considering where I was (there's stuff I'm too disappointed in to post) I think I've done quite well.

I used to be interested only in the story, but now I've decided to get serious about the art side since I actually want to give this comics thing a decent go. To that end I'll hopefully be posting a bunch of stuff soon and any feedback that isn't just a variation of "you suck, never draw again" or otherwise being a @#$##%$# is unwelcome. A decent critique, even if it's one pointing out where I need work, is very much welcome. Let me know if I did something right, too. :) All negative doesn't help me, either, because if I have a shot at this I would like to know. I'm negative enough to myself, but I'm always up for helpful advice, both in what I did right and wrong.

(Note: The Jake and Leon style doesn't lend itself well to multiple angles. I came up with it for a quick strip, not for serious work. I have different styles for that, so I still need to learn for those.)

I'll be honest. I only joined deviantART because I couldn't get Comic Space to send me an activation e-mail. I'm a would-be comic writer, but I need to work on my art skills.

I would love advice and criticism (and if you want to say good things about my stuff, I won't stop you :D ) to help me improve. My hand-drawing skills need improvement, but they used to be a lot worse.

I also mess with sprites and "digital art" (if you don't think I'm cheating with Paint Shop Pro textures and picture tubes), so you may see some of that up here, too.

I promise not to suck too badly. ;)

Doctor Who point and click game: [link]

Not too bad, though a little on the slow side.

Hey, Finally had a chance to look at that Doctor Who game you linked me to. Not a game style I usually play but I appreciate the effort. Still play it?
